Pre workout

A whey protein powder shake, 3grams of creatine and a banana. 300 calories and 40 grams of protein.

Post workout

A whey protein powder shake, 2grams of creatine and a banana. 300 calories and 40 grams of protein.

Lunch

A chicken baguette, though I only had half of the baguette and it was wholemeal, granary so lots of complex carbs and fibre. I also had a handful of dry roasted peanuts with it, to get some essential fatty acids into my diet too. Approx 600 calories and 45 grams of protein.

Afternoon snack

A piece of pork that my mum had cooked, nice and crispy crackling which was most likely full of fat! Approx 250 calories and 20 grams of protein.

Dinner

Out for dinner at a friends house, some antipasti for starters, olives and cured meats for me. Main course was a lovely beef chilli served with garlic bread and potato wedges. To finish off the meal was a baked lemon cheesecake. All of this was washed down with diet coke as I’m on anti-biotics so couldn’t have beers. I did however sneak a beer in later, figuring that one small bottle of beer wouldn’t hurt the anti-biotics. Not sure how many calories, but I guess about 2,000 given it was a three course dinner, and about 60 grams of protein.

Bed time shake

A whey protein shake made with water, 200 calories and 40 grams of protein.

Calories: 3,650

Protein: 245 grams
