Tuesday: run and abs
Run
30 minute run on the treadmill, 10 minutes at 10.5 km/h followed by 10 minutes at 11 km/h then finished with 10 minutes of intervals, 10 km/h for two minutes then 12 km/h for 2 minutes, and repeat until done.
Abs
I don’t really like training abs, so I tend to do as little as possible…
- 2 sets of 30 reps using the gym’s crunch machine with 60kg of weight.
- Lay on the mats and did a plank for 1 minute, was shaking like Muhammad Ali by the end of it!
- 2 sets of 15 reps of leg raises, lay on a bench with bum over hanging the end of the bench for maximum punishment!
That was it, a pretty good fitness workout and good for toning the abs, though I feel I will have to do more ab work to shift the last bit of gut that’s still clinging onto my six-pack!
