Food Journal: Saturday 14th February 2009
Breakfast - pre-workout
Teaspoon of creatine mixed into a small glass of fresh orange juice (1 of my 5 a day). A whey protein powder shake, mixed in the blender with water and two bananas. Approx 400 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Lunch - post-workout
Four slices of wholemeal granary bread, making two bacon sandwiches with six rashers of bacon and HP Sauce, with an apple on the side. Approx 700 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Mid afternoon snack
A handful of dry roasted peanuts and a small bowl of green pitted olives. Approx 400 calories and 20 grams of protein.
Dinner
Another whey protein shake with a banana. Approx 300 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Drinks
Glass of white wine watching TV. Approx 250 calories and zero protein.
Bedtime Shake
Yet another whey protein shake mixed with water and skimmed milke. Approx 250 calories and 40 grams of protein.
