Pre-workout
A whey protein shake made with 100 grams of scottish oats and a banana and a teaspoon of creatine. Approx 700 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Post-workout
Another whey protein shake made with 100 grams of dextrose and a teaspoon of creatine. Approx 700 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Mid morning shake
25 grams of whey and 25 grams of instant milk protein. Approx 200 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Lunch
Four slices of white bread with Tesco chicken tikka pieces (170 grams) for filling and an apple. Approx 700 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Mid afternoon snack
80 grams of dry roasted peanuts. Approx 400 calories and 20 grams of protein.
Dinner
Steak and kidney pie, chips and peas. Approx 1,000 calories and 20 grams of protein (not much meat in it).
Drinks
Watched the England qualifier, good result 2-1, had a couple of pints of Kronenbourg whilst watching it. Approx 400 calories and zero protein.
Bedtime shake
An instant milk protein shake. Approx 200 calories and 40 grams of protein.
