Pre-workout
A 50g serving of whey protein powder mixed into a shake with 25 grams of fine ground scottish oats, a banana and a teaspoon of creatine. Approx 400 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Post-workout
Another whey protein shake with 25 grams of dextrose carbohydrate powder and a teaspoon of creatine. Approx 300 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Lunch
A wholemeal flour tortilla, a packet of bbq chicken and some salami for filling. Approx 500 calories and 45 grams of protein.
Mid afternoon snack
The rest of the packet of salami. Approx 350 calories and 25 grams of protein.
Dinner
Some leftover roast chicken, some stuffing and some peas, all smothered with gravy. Approx 600 calories and 40 grams of protein.
Drinks
One and a half pints of Becks Vier whilst watching United beat Arsenal in the Champions League. Approx 300 calories and zero protein.
Bedtime Shake
A 25 gram serving of instant milk protein powder in a shake. Approx 100 calories and 20 grams of protein.
