How To Properly Begin A Fitness Program Without Hurting Yourself
Just as we begin to crawl before we walk and learn the alphabet before we read, the same applies to getting in shape. Beginning a fitness program in the correct manner can be the determining factor in the success of our program. Starting out slowly while our bodies build strength and endurance is the correct approach. Though we all want results immediately, this is one program in life where slow and steady truly wins the race.
There are many weight loss programs (Lindora) available and the successful ones encourage people to follow a solid fitness program in addition to their focus on lower caloric intake. For many, weight loss is the easiest part of getting healthy and fit. The ongoing exercise and food maintenance is where the real challenge is found. People who lose weight, exercise, and keep the weight off long term are much more successful in comparison to those who don’t exercise. To truly win the battle of the bulge, a fitness plan is the best strategic defense.
Begin with a realistic approach to your fitness goal.
The amount of time you are able to commit to exercise on a weekly basis is important in knowing where to start. Committing to a half an hour every day, or even every other day is a good start. Having some basic tools and equipment is also very important. Many are able to work out in a gym where equipment and trainers are provided; however, if you don’t have the luxury of a gym membership, there is a vast variety of workout aids available on the market. A few lightweight dumbbells or stretch tube exercise bands are two low cost items that will assist you in a good start to your fitness plan. Starting out slow and with lower weight dumbbells will allow your body to build muscle mass and greatly reduce the chance of injury. There is always time to get stronger, more fit, and leaner. Patience is the key to keeping free of injuries.
Stretch tube exercise bands are used for muscle stretches and exercises. In addition to being low cost, they offer different resistance levels and help to improve range of motion as well as strength. Working many parts of the body, exercise bands help to build bone density which is very important in women as their body’s age and bones become more frail. Resistance exercises are used in rehabilitation as well as conditioning and training.
Begin slowly, identify your fitness goals, have a few tools in place, and the next step is to get into a regular routine of exercising. If you are a morning person take advantage of your morning energy level and work out during that time. Many people are more productive at night and later in the day is a better time to complete their fitness workout. Motivation is a powerful tool in keeping committed to your weight loss goal. Finding a workout buddy and being accountable to someone else often times helps to keep your commitment alive. It is important to remember to use the right form and correct posture when exercising. Focusing on each and every move will help to ensure a workout free of injuries.

Basics, basics, basics. People do not understand that there’s no magic pill that changes you to a fit person. It is not hard to find and apply some simple rules but it occurs to be too big effort.

I quite agree Michal, there is no short-cut to a good body and great fitness, you have to put the hard work in. Unfortunately most people don’t understand that the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary!
