Very nice and informative article, let me share my fitness story with dear readers. I used to be very fit and athlete, but with the passage of time I became lazy and developed a habit of eating and sleeping along with no exercise. Which deposited around 25 - 30 Kilo of fat into my stomach, face, legs and all over my body? Everyday when I looked in the mirror I had thought today I will start exercising, which was clearly a false promising to myself, again with the passage of time I realized now enough is enough I have to do something to get rid of this fat. So I stepped on to the thread mill and started running 40 Minutes everyday at 9 Miles per hour. Right after finishing a marathon every day I then take the free weight and start building my shoulders and biceps, chest and etc. 3 Days continues exercise and 2 days rest which continued over the period of 3 months and I have now lost 22 Kilo of fat and I have started to look young and energetic once again. I recommend everyone who is facing the same symptoms of fatness try to get fit, it is really easy and not difficult at all. Thank you

My favorite whey protein powder is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. It is simply whey protein with little else added to it, no fat, no carbs. The problem is every company markets their products as being superior to others but the fact is they are almost all the same. The thing you want to look out for when purchasing a whey protein product is a)the type of whey (isolate, concentrate, or hydrolyzed) b)amount of fat and carbohydrates c)amino acid profile. A good whey protein powder should mainly be made up isolates, and should contain little or no fat or carbs and should have a complete amino acid profile (added BCAA's is a plus). Now, some companies throw in pinches of other things such as creatine or some other stuff, but never enough to have any kind of positive effect. So the bottom line you should buy something that is affordable.

Very good article. I've found your blog via Yahoo and I'm really happy about the information you provide in your posts. Btw your blogs layout is really messed up on the Kmelon browser. Would be great if you could fix that. Anyhow keep up the good work!

Great post! I've always been a very bag fan of Dymatize Whey! I think your review was spot on and a great help to anyone interested in picking up a whey. It's nice to get some good honest insight rather than the typical marketing machines.

Great work!

Hello.

After spending allot of my time i came to the same conclusion as you mention here. I incorporated more heavy lifts and bodyweight exercises. I only did it for about a month and got complimented allot on how my arms and my whole body looked bigger. Not only that but in judo classes i felt my balance improved considerably and best of all I stayed at roughly the same weight!

Now i'm looking to inroduce more cardio to my routine.

You would get better results do a split routine for example:

monday - chest & forearms
tuesday - biceps & Triceps
wednesday - shoulders & traps
thursday - back & lats
friday - legs

Do 2-3 different exercises on each muscle and 4-5 sets. Your muscle are going to get to used to doing a full workout eveytime and you will find it hard to make gains.

You should try adding some vanilla or chocolate ice cream to it it help thicken it up and makes it taste even better plus you get the added protein.
