Workouts
There are many different kind of workouts that can be done, either down a gym, in the comfort of your own home, on the sportsfield, in a swimming pool or even just in your neighbourhood.
Broadly speaking, workouts can be split into two different kinds:
- Weight Training Exercises - anaerobic exercise of the muscles by using weights as resistance
- Cardiovascular Exercises - aerobic exercise of the body, heart and lungs
Within each kind of exercise there is a huge variety of different workouts that can be done, as well as a plethora of different sports that incorporate.
Most sportsmen and women will incprporate both forms of workouts into their daily routines to ensure that they are in the best physical shape possible to compete in their chosen sport.
